Specialty jewellery Eternelle wanted to upgrade their brand to a more upmarket look & feel so that it would speak to new local customers, while maintaining their traditional appeal to their Asian client base. Their products include hand crafted, premium jewellery pieces of cultural significance.
The identity marries the two cultures by taking ancient Māori symbols and artfully joining them with Chinese patterns. Cultural narratives and meaningful symbols were aligned for the brand to be authentic and speak to both audiences in a sophisticated way. Developed design assets included the shop front signage and window frosting (collaborating with the architect), business cards and shopping bags.
